§ COLONEL BARNEasked the Secretary of State for War, Whether the Sergeant Instructors of Volunteers appointed Sergeant Majors under Article 204 of Volunteer Regulations, 1863, and previous to the issue of the Volunteer Regulations of 1878, would when they retired be entitled to the pension as laid down for a Sergeant Major in the Royal Warrant dated the 6th of September 1876, and amended the 9th of July 1877?
