§ COLONEL STANLEYI am afraid that I should unduly take up the time of the House if I gave these details. I may say that the total strength of the forces and drafts will be between 8,000 and 9,000 men, 1,800 horses, and about 225 waggons, six 9-pounder, eight 7-pounder guns, and four Gatlings. In a few days hence I shall be able to lay the embarkation Returns, which will give all the details required, on the Table of the House.
