§ MR. FAWCETTasked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether he can name a time within which he believes he shall be able to lay upon the Table of the House the Papers he has promised to produce in reference to the Eastern Question?
§ MR. DISRAELISir, there are no Members of the House who are more anxious that these Papers should be placed on the Table than the Members of Her Majesty's Government. I gave orders before I came to the House yesterday that the utmost promptitude should be exercised in preparing them; but it is quite out of my power to say exactly on what day they will be placed on the Table.
