§ LORD NAASsaid, he wished to inquire of the Chief Secretary for Ireland when the Report of the Endowed Schools Commission was likely to be presented to Parliament; and whether it was the intention of the Government to propose any measure on that subject during the present Session?
§ MR. HORSMANsaid, he could not say exactly when the Report would be laid upon the table, but when he left Dublin in January the Commissioners had terminated their inquiries and were deliberating upon their Report. Until that Report and the evidence on which it was founded was in the hands of the Government he could not state their intentions on the subject.
