§ The Speakerinformed the House that lie had attended her Majesty with the Address of the House, to which her Majesty had been pleased to return the following most gracious answer:—
"Gentlemen—I return you my hearty thanks for this dutiful and affectionate address.
"Your congratulations on the birth of the Prince, my son, are cordially received by me as a proof of your loyal attachment to my person and Government.
"Tile happiness of my people is the first object of my care, and you may rely on my co-operation in every measure which is conducive to the promotion of their welfare."
Her Majesty's answer was ordered to be entered on the journals.
