§ Mr. MealeI understand that Environment Agency records indicate that there are 10 companies within the constituency of Pudsey which are obligated under the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations 1997. The 10 obligated companies are members of the Valpak compliance scheme. During 1998, the Environment Agency concentrated its monitoring efforts on those businesses which had failed to register and, those which were individually registered. None of the above companies fell into either of these categories.
