asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will take account of the findings of the Wilson committee on the working of the financial institutions in the series of studies which he is doing on the effect of tax provisions on the pattern of personal savings.

Yes. I also intend to invite a number of people with direct first-hand experience of the workings of the financial institutions and of the financial needs of industry to be associated with the work of officials on these studies.
