§ Mr. Kershawasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what consultations he has had with Ministers of allied countries with the purpose of co-ordinating national policies against terrorist threats and attacks; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesI maintain close contact with my colleagues in allied countries. In particular, following a United Kingdom initiative, Ministers of the European Community with responsibility for combating terrorism have met regularly and have agreed on arrangements for co-operation and exchanging information about terrorist activities and techniques for dealing with terrorist incidents. The next ministerial meeting will be in Bonn next month.
