asked the Minister of Food the average percentage of frequency of the visits of inspectors to cattle markets and slaughterhouses in relation to the occasions of opening of the same.

Thirty per cent. in the case of fat stock collecting centres. I regret that visits to slaughterhouses cannot be expressed in the form of an average percentage. The frequency of inspection varies from one or more visits a week to one visit in three weeks.
