asked the Minister of Food if he will place a copy of the minutes of recent meetings of the I.E.F.C. and its commodity committees in the Library and arrange for much minutes to be made available to hon. Members in the future.

No, Sir. It is the policy of the I.E.F.C. that the minutes of these meetings should not be published. Any change in this policy would need to be decided by the Council itself in agreement with the member Governments. Frequent Press releases are made, giving particulars of decisions reached and allocations agreed
