§ Mr. MacNEILLasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether his attention has been directed to the fact that in the South Africa Bill, now under consideration in the House of Commons, eligibility for election to the Parliament to be established in South Africa by this Bill is limited to persons of European descent; and whether, having regard to its ambiguity and the difficulties likely to arise in its construction, steps will be taken to define the term and incorporate the definition in the South Africa Bill?
