Mr. POWERasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland if he can state why, in dividing the lands of Orchardstown, Waterford Union, an applicant for a portion of those lands, named Morris, who had been evicted from a farm on the townland of Orchardstown, received no part of the divided lands?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe hon. Member appears to have been misinformed. The Estates Commissioners offered Morris over 70 acres of the lands of Orchardstown, but he refused the offer.
