Mr. Gwyn Prosser accordingly presented a Bill to make provision with respect to the welfare of farm animals exported from Great Britain; to require Ministers to lay before Parliament proposals for ending the export of live farm animals and the transport of such animals over long distances; and for connected purposes: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time on Friday 19 March, and to be printed [Bill 43].
