Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Motion made, and Question put forthwith, pursuant to Standing Order No. 52(1)(a), That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Competition Bill [Lords], it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any—

  1. (a) expenses incurred by a Minister of the Crown under or in consequence of that Act, or
  2. (b) increase attributable to that Act in the sums so payable under any other enactment. —[Mr. Betts.]
