Motion made, and Question put forthwith, pursuant to Order [19 December], That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Pensions Bill [Lords], it is expedient to authorise—

(1) the levying of charges towards expenditure under the Act or the Pension Schemes Act 1993 in connection with provisions relating to—

  1. (a) the compilation and maintenance of a register of occupational and personal pension schemes,
    2. 621
  2. (b) the investigation and determination of complaints and disputes relating to occupational and personal pension schemes.
  3. (c) the making of grants by the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority.
  4. (d) the expenses of that authority (including the expenses of establishing the authority), and
  5. (e) the expenses of the Pensions Compensation Board (including the expenses of establishing the Board), and

(2) the making of payments into the Consolidated Fund.—[Mr. Lightbown.]
