To the Honourable the Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Parliament assembled. The Humble Petition of Delyn Friends of the Earth sheweth:That every year 200-300 Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs), our best wildlife sites, are damaged or destroyed.Wherefore your Petitioners pray that your Honourable House introduce tougher laws to protect SSSIs.And your Petitioners, as in duty bound, will every pray, etc.I plead that this petition is worthy of the attention of the House.
