Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from Merchant Shipping Bill [Lords], it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—
    1. (i) any expenses incurred by the Secretary of State in consequence of the provisions of the Act; and
    2. (ii) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums so payable under any other Act;
  2. (b) the payment out of the Consolidated Fund of any sums required to fulfil guarantees given by the Treasury in respect of sums borrowed by the Secretary of State for the purpose of defraying expenses payable out of the General Lighthouse Fund;
  3. (c) the payment out of the National Loans Fund of any increase attributable to the Act in the sums so payable under section 3 of the National Loans Act 1968.—[Mr. Lennox-Boyd.]
