Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Petroleum Bill, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) any expenditure incurred by the Secretary of State under provisions of that Act relating to the abandonment of offshore installations or submarine pipe-lines, and
  2. (b) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under section 40 of the Petroleum and Submarine Pipe-lines Act 1975.—[Mr. Lightbown.]
