Ordered, That Standing Order No. 71 (Scottish Grand Committee) be amended, in line 20, at the end, by adding— (3) Whenever any bill, estimate or matter has been referred to the Scottish Grand Committee, a motion may be made by a Minister of the Crown that, in the course of its consideration thereof, the Committee may meet in Edinburgh on any specified Monday at half-past Ten o'clock, and the Question on the motion shall be put forthwith; and if, on the Question being put, not fewer than twenty Members rise in their places and signify their objection, Mr. Speaker shall declare that the noes have it: Provided that nothing in this order shall prevent the committee from considering the same bill, estimate or matter on other days at Westminster.—[Mr. Garel-Jones.]
