Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend subsection (1) of section 25 of the Housing (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1968 it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) any increase not exceeding £250 million in the sums which may be issued out of the National Loans Fund by virtue of the said section 25 which is attributable to the provisions of the said Act of the present Session;
  2. (2) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any increase in the sums payable out of money so provided under Pan 1 of the Housing (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1972 or the Housing (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1978 which is so attributable; and
  3. (3) the payment into the National Loans Fund of any increase in the sums received by the Secretary of State by virtue of the said section 25 which is so attributable.—[Mr. David Hunt.]
