Queen's Recommendation having been signified.

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to repeal certain provisions of the Housing (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1972, to make further provision as to the rents of houses provided by housing authorities in Scotland, and to amend the law relating to housing subsidies and accounts in Scotland, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of

  1. (a)any expenses incurred by the Secretary of State in consequence of any provision of the said Act;
  2. (b)any increase attributable to the said Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under any other enactment;
