Motion made, and Question,

That at the end of paragraph 7 of Schedule 7 to the Finance Act 1972 there shall be added

the words 'but where such a vehicle is imported after having been exported the provisions of section 52 of this Act and of this Schedule shall apply in relation to it as they apply in relation to a vehicle made outside the United Kingdom and not previously imported'.

And it is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution should have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act 1968.—[Mr. Barber.]
