Motion made, and Question,
That section 7(5) of the Finance Act 1972 shall be amended by substituting for the words '(notwithstanding the preceding provisions of this section)' the words '(to the extent that it is not treated as taking place at the time mentioned in subsection (4) of this section)'.
And it is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution should have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act 1968.—[Mr. Barber.]
