The Humble Petition of young people of East Flintshire constituency
Sheweth
That grave hardship is arising from the plans to rationalise the steel industry in East Flintshire—resulting in the loss of many jobs and consequent financial and social hardship.
Wherefore your Petitioners pray that your Honourable House do urgently reconsider the decision to end steel-making at the Shotton works of the British Steel Corporation.
And your Petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray.
