§ Mr. Gibson-WattThe most recent programme relates to starts in 1973–74. This includes 41 projects for the replacement of old primary schools, compared with 38 in the 1972–73 and five in the 1969–70 programmes.
§ Mr. EdwardsI welcome the notable improvements on the dismal performance of the previous Government in this respect. Will my hon. Friend indicate how long it will be before he expects to have rebuilt most of the oldest and inadequate primary schools still left?
