§ 29. Mr. David Steelasked the Minister for the Civil Service when he expects negotiations to be completed on the pay claim of the Ministry of Agriculture's veterinary surgeons, outstanding since January, 1971.
§ Mr. Kenneth BakerAgreement could not be reached by negotiation, and the claim of the Institution of Professional Civil Servants was therefore referred to 1258 the Civil Service Arbitration Tribunal. The tribunal has asked for further evidence, which will be submitted shortly; the tribunal's award will no doubt follow soon afterwards.
