§ 50. Mr. Sutcliffeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment, in view of the need for office, industrial and infra-structural development, what assistance is contemplated by his Department to implement the Tees-side urban structure plan based on the Tees-side Survey and Plan which cost £380,000 from public funds.
§ Mr. Graham PageAs indicated in my reply of 24th February to my hon. Friend, no structure plans are expected before next year but Tees-side is likely to be among the first authorities to submit one.
§ Mr. SutcliffeDoes my hon. Friend recognise that there is on Tees-side a feeling of urgency, and will he give an assurance that funds will be available to enable Tees-side to get on with the job and that there will be no cut-back?
§ Mr. PageI think it is better that we should look at the structure plan when it arrives and see what the proposals are.
