In a reply to me the Ministry stated that it has figures of traffic densities, but it has not disclosed what they are. Will he undertake to give a reply if I put this Question down again?
§ Mr. PeytonYes, Sir; in due course. The hon. Gentleman will be interested to know that further surveys are planned this summer—they should start in April —as part of the final studies for the project.
§ Mr. MaddanDoes my right hon. Friend agree that in view of the increasing traffic between England and the Continent what is needed is an early decision to go ahead with the tunnel?
