Motion made, and Question,
That, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the practice of the House relating to the matters which may be included in Finance Bills, provision may be made in any Finance Bill of the present Session for confirming and giving effect to any agreement between the Treasury and the Ministry of Finance for Northern Ireland which supersedes the agreement set out in the Schedule to the Social Services (Northern Ireland Agreement) Act 1949 as amended by the agreement set out in Schedule 19 to the Finance Act 1968 and for otherwise contributing to the cost of social services in Northern Ireland.—[Mr. Barber.]
