HC Deb 10 November 1970 vol 806 c197
42. Mr. Boyden

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what alterations he is making in the hospital building programme.

Sir K. Joseph

I have nothing at present to add to the Answer I gave to the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, North-East (Mrs. Renée Short) on 4th November.—[Vol. 805, c. 403–4.]

Mr. Boyden

Surely the Secretary of State can give more details about the nature of the expansion of the hospital service. Surely he can say whether he will improve casualty services and services of that description.

Sir K. Joseph

I hope to make a statement shortly.
