§ 6. Mr. James Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what proposals for future capital developments in Hull he has received from National Freightliners Limited.
§ Mr. PeytonNone, Sir.
§ Mr. JohnsonIs the right hon. Gentleman aware that anxiety has been expressed about the long-term future of the terminal in West Hull? Since the major part of our deep-water dock is on the east side of Hull, will he consider the possibility of establishing a mini-terminal to provide additional facilities on the east side of the city?
§ Mr. PeytonThis is a matter for the National Freight Corporation and not for me. I have no doubt that the Chairman of that Corporation will have taken note of the hon. Gentleman's remarks.
