Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to abolish betterment levy and dissolve the Land Commission, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament—
    2. 1486
    1. (i) of compensation to members of the Land Commission for loss of office;
    2. (ii) of sums payable by the Secretary of State in the exercise of functions transferred to him by the Act; and
    3. (iii) of expenses incurred in the exercise of any power conferred by the Act for facilitating the disposal of land acquired under the Land Commission Act 1967;
  2. (b) the payment of any sums into the Consolidated Fund.—[Mr. Graham Page.]
