Motion made, and Question proposed, That a Select Committee be appointed to examine the Report and Accounts of the Post Office and of Nationalised Industries established by Statute whose controlling Boards are appointed by Ministers of the Crown and whose annual receipts are not wholly or mainly derived from moneys provided by Parliament or advanced from the Exchequer. —[Mr. Gourlay.]

Amendment proposed, to leave out from "Industries" to the second "whose" and to insert "and other bodies in which the State has a controlling interest".—[Mr. Trevor Park.]—instead thereof.
