§ Mr. DigbyIs the Minister aware that that is quite inadequate, as the traffic congestion at weekends is becoming appalling throughout the whole of the summer months and is having a serious effect on the West Country?
§ Mr. CarmichaelWe are aware of the problem of this road and of many other roads. Of the schemes in progress, the Sherborne-Yeovil length will be one mile of road and the A303 has two parts in progress, one of three miles and one of 1,000 yards. Other schemes are being programmed.
