§ Question proposed, That the Clause stand part of the Bill.
§ 11.23 a m.
§ Mr. R. Graham Page (Crosby)I understand that a later Amendment on 2666 the Notice Paper, standing in the name of the Solicitor-General, takes account of the fact that very soon Clause 20 may not describe what the law is in that the Civic Amenities Bill has now completed all its stages in the other place.
Perhaps the right hon. and learned Gentleman could explain what will now happen to the Clause, in view of the proposed Amendment to Schedule 6.
§ The Solicitor-General (Sir Dingle Foot)Perhaps it might be convenient for me to deal with this matter if and when my Amendment is called on Schedule 6. Otherwise, I shall have to deal with the same thing twice.
§ The ChairmanThat would be more convenient. The right hon. and learned Gentleman's Amendment will be called on Schedule 6.
