§ Mr. K. RobinsonThe amounts spent by the four Metropolitan Regional Hospital Boards in the three financial years up to 31st March, 1966, were £29,000, £31,000 and £39,000.
§ Mr. PavittWill the Minister consider alternative ways of securing consultant staff for hospitals in place of the present rather costly method? Perhaps he will also do something about the amounts spent by hospital management committees?
§ Mr. RobinsonI shall consider this, but I assure my hon. Friend that this is not limited to advertising for consultant staff. It includes small amounts for publicity for the blood transfusion service, for mass radiography and for other board staffs.
