Friend aware that there is a good deal of concern in camping and caravanning circles about the inadequacy of the provision of amenities on camping and caravanning sites, and that the camping movement generally feels that some guidance to local authorities from the Ministry of Housing would be very helpful?
§ Mr. MacCollUnder the existing law, my right hon. Friend has responsibility for preparing the model standards. The enforcement of those standards and the actual details of the licences are not his responsibility. They are entirely a matter for the local authorities.
