28. Mr. Brian Harrisonasked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs whether he will refer the method of assessing consultant engineers' fees and charges to the National Board for Prices and Incomes.
§ Mr. George BrownNo, Sir.
Mr. HarrisonWill the right hon. Gentleman look at this matter again? Does not he think that it is a crazy system whereby if a consultant engineer makes a mistake he has an increased fee at the end of the day?
§ Mr. BrownSince I saw the hon. Gentleman's Question on the Order Paper, and since I prepared the Answer, I have thought again about it and I have asked the Department to let me have some information on it. [Interruption.] Good Questions quite often bring about good Answers. It is the other sort of Questions which fail.
