1. Mr. Hector Hughes

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will give details of the number and nature of the applications for assistance under the Local Employment Acts by firms wishing to set up business or expand in North-East Scotland, with special reference to Aberdeen, and indicate how many were granted and how many, and which, firms have actually started business there.
