§ Mr. RidleyIs the Prime Minister aware that it is not only for him to satisfy himself about this matter but that the public have a right to be satisfied, too, that his allegation was wrong, if that is the case? Does he remember that in the case of the Bank Rate tribunal and the Vassall Inquiry, when he made similar allegations, tribunals were set up to prove that he was wrong? Will he give a similar assurance in this case?
§ The Prime MinisterI have always wondered what was the motive of the then Prime Minister in setting up that tribunal. I did not realise that it was set up to prove that I was wrong.
