§ Mr. ParkinOn a point of order. Have you had any request from the President of the Board of Trade to answer my Question No. 87, Mr. Speaker?
§ Mr. SpeakerNo, I have not.
§ Mr. ParkinFurther to that point of order. Could you help me in my difficulty, Mr. Speaker? With the greatest desire to help the President of the Board 39 of Trade, when I saw him last week, and submitted certain evidence to him, I offered to postpone this Question from day to day until he was ready to give an answer in the House, for it was rather important that I should be able to ask supplementary questions and that, if it appeared that his powers were not adequate to deal with the type of evidence which I submitted, he should seek further powers.
By what I hope is an accident, I have lost the opportunity of postponing the Question which must now be answered in written form today. Have I any remedy, or any way in which to get the President of the Board of Trade to give that assurance?
§ Mr. SpeakerIt does not raise any point of order for me.
