§ The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster (Mr. Iain Macleod)Today, we shall ask the House to consider, in addition to the business already announced, the Gas (Borrowing Powers) Order, deferred from last Thursday.
The House will also wish to know that it is proposed that after the Summer Adjournment the House should meet on Thursday, 24th October, at eleven o'clock, for Prorogation.
It is expected that the new Session will be opened on Tuesday, 29th October.
