asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what has caused the delay in approving the extension to the Watt Memorial College, Greenock.

Proposals for the accommodation to be provided were approved on 15th March, 1962, but plans and estimated costs have not yet been submitted by the education authority. I understand that after some initial difficulty the vacation of the site has now been arranged and that it is hoped to submit plans and costs at an early date so that the annexe may be ready for the start of next session.
