HC Deb 01 April 1963 vol 675 cc3-4
5. Mr. LI. Williams

asked the Minister of Health what economies in pocket money for patients, cinema shows and the use of butter have been carried out at Denbigh Hospital during the last six months.

Mr. Powell

None, Sir.

Mr. Williams

Is the Minister aware that one trade union, which is responsible for a large number of employees in the hospital service, has conducted an investigation into the implied allegations in my Question and that its findings do not correspond with what he has said?

Mr. Powell

I am sorry about that, but my Answer is correct.
