HC Deb 29 November 1962 vol 668 c649
26. Mr. Dodds

asked the Minister of Education if he will give details of the arrangements that have been made to find school places for the children of gypsies and other travellers at the emergency camp at Cobham, Kent; how many children of school age are still unplaced; and what is being done to help them in this respect.

Sir E. Boyle

I understand that all these children attend Cobham County Primary School except four who attend Southfields County Secondary School, Gravesend, and one who attends a day special school for partially sighted pupils. To the best of the local education authority's knowledge, no child of school age is out of school.
