§ Mr. WorsleyWhile thanking my right hon. Friend for that reply, may I ask him whether he can give any indication at all when he will act on these reports, because of the feeling of uncertainty in the library service until the decisions are taken?
§ Sir D. EcclesI wish that I could answer that, but the fact is, as my hon. Friend knows, that a very large number of local authorities of different sizes are involved, and one has to proceed very carefully.
