asked the Secretary of State for Air to what extent he has given consideration to the possibility of using bombers similar to the American B70 in the Royal Air Force.

There are no plans to use bombers similar to the American B70 in the Royal Air Force.

Mr. Hughes

Will the Under-Secretary tell us how far he has studied the possibilities of this aircraft, and could he give us an idea of how much this astronomically costly aircraft would cost in British currency?

Mr. Taylor

This must be a hypothetical question. The aircraft is an experimental aircraft doing new work in the United States. As I have said, there is no intention of introducing it into service in the Royal Air Force.
