§ 8. Mr. Bullardasked the Postmaster-General whether he will arrange for a later time for the acceptance of letters at King's Lynn General Post Office.
§ Miss PikeThe posting arrangements at King's Lynn Post Office are being reviewed, and I shall be glad to look into any particular point which is troubling my hon. Friend if he will let me have details.
§ Mr. BullardWill the Minister bear in mind that the latest time for general posting there is now, I am told, 4.45, which is a very early time indeed, and letters must be posted even earlier on Fridays in order to ensure general delivery the following morning? Will my hon. Friend endeavour to see that a much later arrangement for posting than this can be inaugurated.
§ Miss PikeWe are looking into this, and I hope that we shall be able to meet the hon. Gentleman's point.
