asked the Secretary of State for War if, in view of the reduced activity at the Royal Ordnance Factory at Fazakerley, he will state his intentions regarding the full utilisation of the facilities at these premises.

I would refer the hon. Member to the Answer which I gave on 29th April to my hon. Friend the Member for Meriden (Mr. Matthews).

Could my right hon. Friend say how many of the employees at this factory are established and how many are unestablished?

Mr. Soames

About 750 are established and about the same number un-estabablished. I have not the exact figures with me, but they are of that order.
