asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will make a further statement on the report of the Committee on Grassland Utilisation.

Mr. Godber

My right hon. Friend is not quite ready to make a statement. Perhaps the hon. Member would put down a further Question after the Recess.

Mr. Willey

I shall accept the Parliamentary Secretary's advice, but has he forgotten that his right hon. Friend, as long ago as last December, promised me an early statement in the new year?

Mr. Godber

I admit freely that there has been delay and I apologise for it. It has been unavoidable and greater than my right hon. Friend had wished. Knowing the hon. Gentleman and his usual clemency, I am sure that he will not mind waiting another week or so.
